New inhabitants
Why do we come to live somewhere ? Do we choose an apartment, a building, a city, a territory ? Or a landscape, an atmosphere, a future ? How can a dwelling, its layout, its orientation make it possible to project itself ? Are the building, its architecture, its materials and its performance decisive ?
It was to answer some of these questions and many others, to discover how new residents imagine their habitat, appropriate it and live there, that I went to meet them. Photographer and editor, I completed this series of portraits and architectural photographs with interviews and testimonies.
